What's included in my cruise fare?
Your cruise fare includes everything you need for any amazing cruise vacation- most dining venues on board, most entertainment on board, many activities on board, and your beautiful stateroom. Insurance and gratuities are not included. You'll want to budget for shore excursions, specialty dining meals, alcoholic beverages and sodas, room service charges, wifi, and casino play. Packages are available for the most popular amenities.
The land tour in Denali includes transportation from Anchorage to Denali and Denali to the ship. A Natural History Tour of Denali is included on day 3, with optional add-on tours offered on day 4. Meals at the Denali lodge are not included, but dining packages are available.
What is the pricing for a three or four person cabin?
Pricing for these cabins will be based on the going rate at the time you book.
Can I select my own cabin?
Yes! Most clients find it easier to give me a preference (ex: midship, or close to elevators) and allow me to choose an available cabin for them. But if you prefer a specific cabin please let me know.
How does dining work on Princess?
Princess operates on open seating, which means you may arrive for dinner at any time during dinner service hours. Just like restaurants at home, you may make a reservation for a specific time or simply arrive and wait to be seated.

Why is the cruise planned for September? Won't Alaska start to get cold?
Alaskan weather in early September is similar to late August, with tours and activities still operating during shoulder season. The biggest difference is crowds. Most Alaska cruisers are American, when students go back to school, tourism thins out and rates lower.
Why are we sailing on Princess?
There are many reasons why Princess was selected. Princess has well-established land tours in Denali and exclusive access to their unique lodges. They also have the best access to sail in Glacier Bay National Park, which requires a special permit that not all cruise lines are able to get. These factors, in addition to their beautiful ships, quality dining, and innovations like the Ocean Medallion, make Princess an excellent choice for this trip.
